Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Winch Truck Operator located in Red Deer, AB. The primary responsibilities include operating winch trucks to transport equipment or materials, loading and unloading cargo, and adhering to safety protocols and DOT regulations. The operator will inspect and maintain the truck, ensure proper securement of loads, and work collaboratively with team members to meet operational demands. A strong focus on safety and compliance is essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • Possess a valid class 1 license and proficiency in truck driving
  • Experience with winch trucks, including operations and safe loading/unloading practices
  • Thorough understanding of and adherence to DOT regulations
  • Strong knowledge of truck maintenance and safety inspections
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety standards
