A high-profile family in The Kingsway, Toronto, is looking for a part-time nanny for their 1-year-old child to start as soon as possible. They are offering up to $45 per hour for the right candidate.

Schedule:

Days and hours are flexible, based on travel and game schedules. Dad is a professional athlete with a demanding schedule, so they require someone who can be extremely flexible with their shifts, approximately 20 hours per week, with a mix of days, overnight hours, and weekends. A schedule will be provided in advance.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1.) General childcare for their 1-year-old, keeping her engaged in play and putting her down for naps and bedtime.

2.) Child-related tidying, including cleaning up after playtime and maintaining the child's areas. The family already has household staff who handle cooking and general cleaning.

3.) Travel assistance. The family occasionally travels to their home in Florida, USA, and may request the nanny to join them. They stay in Toronto for most of the season. However, when Dad is traveling for games, the nanny may need to accompany the Mom and the child when traveling.

They are looking for someone flexible, reliable, trustworthy, and energetic, who can keep up with an active toddler and create a fun, stimulating environment that encourages learning and curiosity. Good communication skills are essential.

The family also has two dogs, a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Rottweiler. While no pet care is required, it is important that the nanny is comfortable working around pets.

Driving is required. They would need a nanny who is able to drive and has her own vehicle in case of an emergency when Mom and Dad are not around.
