Titan Land & Cattle (a division of Titan Livestock Group of Companies) is currently looking for an energetic individual to fill the position of Farm and Animal Hand located at our feedlot in Niton Junction, AB.

Responsibilities:
- Processing and treating cattle
- Keep up to date accurate records of all treatments, cleaning and sanitization of equipment
- Assist with shipping cattle
- Pen checks to ensure animal health as required
- Pull sick cattle out of pen to treat
- Responsible for keeping accurate records of all treatments
- Move cattle to appropriate pens
- Maintain regular bedding of pens
- Daily checks and regular cleaning of water bowls
- Assist with yard maintenance including repairing slab fences, wire fences, and pipe fences
- Maintenance and repair of feed bunks and water bowls
- Clean up of yard, pens, roads, buildings, and fields
- Operate various equipment including skid steer, box scraper, UTV, loader, feed truck and dump truck
- Other duties/projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience handling cattle, pen-checking, processing and treating cattle
- Must be able to perform manual physical labour
- Experience operating a UTV and farm equipment
- Excellent communication and strong organization skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Must have a positive team player attitude
- Must have attention to detail
- Follows policies and procedures and completes tasks correctly and on time
- Treats people with respect; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values
- Accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments
- Able to work well independently with little supervision
- Is consistently at work and on time
- Physically fit and able to push, pull, lift up to 50+ lbs and to bend and kneel with comfort
- Schedule is primarily 7am - 5pm including weekends and holidays. Must be flexible and able to work longer hours/days during busy seasons
- Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing, oral)
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Wage is dependent upon specific experience handling cattle and equipment operation. Benefit package including extended health, dental, life, and disability available after 3 months of employment.
Niton Junction is located in rural Alberta 30 minutes East of Edson, own transportation is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Experience:
- cattle handling: 2 years (preferred)
- feedlot/farm: 2 years (preferred)
- operating farm equipment: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- fluent English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
