Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced
Analog / Mixed-Signal / RF Layout Engineer
to develop high-quality full-custom layouts in advanced technology nodes. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in RF and AMS layout techniques, verification, and close collaboration with circuit designers to achieve successful tape-outs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop
    full-custom Analog, Mixed-Signal, and RF layouts
    at both block-level and top-level.
  • Ensure compliance with
    Analog/Mixed-Signal and RF design constraints
    and foundry layout guidelines.
  • Maintain high layout quality focusing on:
  • Matching and symmetry
  • Shielding and isolation
  • Reliability and electromigration
  • Noise and substrate coupling mitigation
  • Perform and drive
    layout verification and closure
    , including:
  • DRC, LVS, ERC
  • Antenna and reliability checks
  • Work closely with
    circuit designers
    to resolve layout-related issues.
  • Support timely project execution and
    meet tape-out schedules
    .
  • Handle layouts in
    advanced technology nodes
    , preferably
    5nm and below
    .

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Cadence Virtuoso (XL/GXL)
    for layout design
  • Calibre
    for physical verification
  • Proven experience working with
    foundry PDKs
    , including
    multi-patterning rules
    .
  • Experience in
    lower technology nodes
    , preferably
    5nm and below
    .
  • Solid
    RF layout experience
    , including:
  • High-frequency signal routing
  • Guard rings, shielding, and isolation
  • EM coupling and signal integrity considerations
  • Experience in layout of RF blocks such as:
  • LNA, Mixer, VCO, Power Amplifier

Good to Have Skills:

  • Exposure to analog and mixed-signal blocks such as:
  • PLL, VGA, ADC, DAC, SerDes, Bandgap, LDO
  • SKILL programming
    for layout automation and productivity enhancement.

Experience:

  • 8+ years
    of experience in
    Analog, Mixed-Signal, and RF layout design
    , including RF layout methodologies.

Education Qualifications:

  • B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech / M.E
    in
    Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
    or
    Electrical Engineering (EE)
    .
