Island Clinical Counselling Ltd is a well-established counselling clinic in Port Alberni BC. We are looking for another Clinical Counsellor to add to our team

The ideal candidate would work with children but also adults. We are also looking for a couples counsellor. Openness to work with all ages preferred and be open to supporting CVAP, ICBC, and/or FNHA clients.

At ICC we strive to provide children, youth, families, couples, and adults with evidence-based service that is empathetic and tailored to individual needs.

Flexibility for part time work is ideal; in particular some evening/weekend openings.

Requirements:

· Registered Clinical Counsellor, Canadian Certified Counsellor, or Registered Social Worker licensed to practice counselling in BC.

· In good standing with appropriate College or Association (BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, British Columbia College of Social Workers)

· Professional Liability Insurance coverage

· A desire to work within a collaborative who have a shared vision for supporting our community

Working in a clinic like ICC provides you with team-based opportunities such as group supervision, collaboration, and training, as well as support from the clinic director. This position also comes with a presence on our website, online booking software, a furnished office space, and direct referrals. If you do not want to work in isolation and value collaboration, then this may be a position for you.

Pay: From $90.00 per hour
