The Oxford School is seeking qualified teachers to fill the following roles:

  • Grade 2 Homeroom teacher

About these roles:

  • Carrying out the professional duties of a teacher in accordance with the school's policies under the direction of the Head of School
  • Designing and implementing long range plans and unit plans that demonstrate creativity, cross curricular connections and a focus on enrichment of curricular topics
  • Demonstrating effective teaching practices that include differentiated instruction to remediate and enrich student learning
  • Working in a collaborative, caring environment
  • Responsible for all aspects of curriculum delivery, assessment, communication with student and parent(s)

Job Type: Full time

Experience:

  • 2 years teaching experience preferred

Education:

  • Honours BA/B.Sc.
  • B.Ed. preferred.
  • A member in good standing of the Ontario College of Teachers or an equivalent.

Salary: salary is commensurate with experience

All teachers/educators of The Oxford School must be able to provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check report.
