Black Fox Safety & Security Services Ltd is seeking qualified Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Primary Care Paramedics (PCP), and Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP) to support oilfield and industrial operations across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. This position is suited for experienced medical professionals who are confident working independently in remote and safety-sensitive environments and who are committed to maintaining high standards of medical care and professionalism.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site medical coverage, assessing and treating injuries and illnesses, responding to medical emergencies, and supporting overall site safety. Duties include maintaining accurate patient care records and incident documentation, managing and maintaining medical equipment and MTC units, and coordinating with site supervisors, safety personnel, and emergency services when required. Medics are expected to promote a strong safety culture, comply with all client, company, and provincial regulations, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Applicants must hold a valid EMR, PCP, or ACP certification with current provincial registration in Alberta, with British Columbia and Saskatchewan registration considered an asset. Current CPR/BLS with AED and H2S Alive certification are required, along with strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills. Candidates must be able to work independently, remain calm in high-pressure situations, and travel to remote work sites. Previous oilfield or industrial medic experience and familiarity with MTC units are considered strong assets.
This position is offered on a contract, casual, or project-based basis with on-call and rotation opportunities available.
