Seeking Journeyman Electrician with experience in residential, commericial and light industrial to service mostly pictou county. Some travel to cumberland, colchester, HRM, antigonish, cape breton and guysborough county's

Responsibilities:

  • Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical components
  • Panel upgrades, service upgrades, fuses to breaker swaps
  • Small to large renovations in finished homes and buildings
  • Pull wire and terminate wiring to various devices
  • Troubleshoot control systems and devices
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and electrical code specifications.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned
  • Maintain safety standards and clean work environment with clean work vehicle

Requirements:

  • Must have their own hand tools and transportation to and from job site
  • Work 40 hours a week. Monday to Friday 730 to 4 pm. No overtime will ever be required unless specifically requested by employee. Overtime will be paid by employer to employee. We don't beleive in the banked hour system.
  • Journeyman Electrician Certificate with red seal
  • Previous electrical experience in residential is an asset. Commericial experience is preferred.
  • Self motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision
  • Team player with attention to detail. Will be instructing apprentices.

Work vehicle to be provided. With all necessary tools and materials to complete work scope.

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Residential- Electrical: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Clean Drivers abstract with full license only

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
