Senior Corporate Paralegal

Location: Langley, British Columbia | Hybrid

Compensation: $105,000–$115,000

Talent Renew has partnered with a prominent Langley-based full-service law firm seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Paralegal to join their Corporate Services team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled paralegal with strong corporate knowledge and leadership experience to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take a leadership role within the Corporate Services team, drafting corporate legal documentation, mentoring staff, and acting as a key point of contact for clients. You will manage complex corporate transactions and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all corporate matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft corporate legal documentation, including incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, corporate and tax reorganizations, share transactions, extra-provincial registrations, dividend transactions, name changes, restorations, and other related documents
  • Mentor, train, and coach Corporate Services staff members
  • Correspond with lawyers and clients to receive and confirm instructions
  • Conduct minute book reviews and address deficiencies as required
  • Prepare closing agendas for corporate transactions
  • Act as a point of contact for corporate client inquiries
  • Perform other administrative duties as required
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Paralegal in a busy corporate practice
  • Minimum 3 years of training and management experience
  • Paralegal Certificate or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Proficiency with BC Online, ALF, iManage, Outlook, and Word
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Work Schedule:
  • Full-time, Hybrid position
