Business Analyst – Order Sets (Clinical Informatics)

Canada | Healthcare | Contract (2yrs)

The location of work will be
remote
; however, proponents must be
available and willing to travel to the Province of New Brunswick at least once per month
for the duration of the project.

Acute Care | EHR / CIS | Clinical Standardization

Connect VIP is seeking a
Clinical Business Analyst specializing in Order Sets
to support a public-sector healthcare organization delivering a large-scale
clinical standardization initiative
within an acute care EHR/CIS environment.

This is a CLINICAL INFORMATICS role.

Business Intelligence, reporting, data analytics, or dashboard-focused backgrounds are NOT a fit.

What You Will Be Doing

You will work directly with
physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and clinical leaders
to:

Review and validate existing
clinical and Order Set requirements

Lead
clinical workshops
to standardize Order Sets across acute care environments

Perform
gap analysis
and capture net-new business and system requirements

· Design and document:

· Clinical workflows

· Order Set logic

· Use cases and functional designs

· Training and adoption materials

Build, validate, and test Order Sets and clinical content
directly within the CIS

Support deployment and adoption of standardized clinical content

Partner with project teams to ensure
clinical safety, alignment, and usability

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Candidates
must meet ALL
of the following:

University degree
in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Information Technology

AND direct hands-on experience creating, standardizing, or implementing Order Sets

5+ years as a Clinical Business Analyst / Clinical Informatics Analyst

· Focused specifically on
Order Sets

· Supporting
EHR / CIS implementations

1+ year
working in
acute care hospital environments

· Supporting Order Sets in
Critical Care and/or General Medicine

3+ years on health information system / CIS implementation projects

· With
direct responsibility for Order Sets

Strongly Preferred Experience

Order Sets in
acute care EHR/CIS environments

CPOE
, clinical documentation, Pharmacy, Lab, or Medical Imaging systems

Leading
clinical facilitation sessions
with healthcare providers

Working within
public health authorities

Bilingual (
English/French
) communication

Atlassian
JIRA
(2+ years)

Advanced use of
Microsoft Office 365
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams)
