Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Long Haul Driver to join our team in the United States. This role is vital in ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across long distances, supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The position is based in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Transport refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers over long distances.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety.
  • Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and freight details.
  • Follow planned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries.
  • Uphold company policies on safety, security, and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
  • Proven experience in long-haul trucking, especially with tractor-trailers.
  • Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks.
  • Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent navigation and route planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently over extended periods.
  • Good physical condition for loading/unloading tasks.
