We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Call Center Agent to join our team in Guelph, ON. As a Call Center Agent, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, providing support, and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide accurate product and service information, ensuring customers understand all relevant details.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting issues and provide effective solutions.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain customer records and update account information as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure service quality and resolve complex customer issues.
- Meet performance targets for call resolution, customer satisfaction, and other key metrics.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department or manager.
- Stay updated on company products, services, and promotions to provide informed support.
- Provide feedback to management on common customer issues or product concerns.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service or call center role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle difficult customers and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with call center software and technology.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual candidates (English/French) are highly desirable.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
