Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in daily food preparation and service. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a willingness to learn and grow within our team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for meal service
  • Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers/ supervisor
  • Help with food handling and storage to ensure freshness and safety standards are maintained
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Serve food to customers or staff as directed, ensuring proper portioning and presentation
  • Assist with dishwashing and sanitation duties to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, cooking, and cleaning processes
  • Most of the shifts will be evenings,nights and weekends

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food handling

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
