Nanaimo BC VT J, Canada Aura Hair Boutique Full time

Position: Licensed Hairstylist – Commission-Based (Local Applicants Only)

Location: Aura Hair Boutique – Nanaimo, BC

Compensation: 50% Commission on Hourly rate charged

We are seeking a talented, motivated hairstylist who is currently living in the Nanaimo area. Applicants must already reside locally to be considered for this position. This is an in-salon role and not suitable for remote or long-distance candidates.

What We Offer:

  • 50% commission split for stylists who bring some existing clientele.

  • We also actively provide new clients to support your growth through salon marketing, walk-ins, online bookings, and referrals.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Licensed hairstylist in British Columbia.

  • Currently living in or around Nanaimo.

  • Passionate about colour, extensions, or cutting.

  • Motivated to build and maintain a strong clientele.

  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work on-site at our salon in Nanaimo.

  • Must already live locally (applications from outside the area will not be considered).

  • This is not a position for new talent stylist that are looking for an apprenticeship.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
