Job Description:

Au sein de la direction des affaires juridiques, vous rejoindrez une équipe expérimentée, collaborative et bien ancrée dans la réalité de Beneva, possédant des connaissances juridiques variées et une expertise d'affaires indéniable. À titre de conseiller(-ère) juridique, vous émettrez des opinions juridiques et travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les secteurs de l'assurance de personne de Beneva. Votre rôle vous permettra d'acquérir une vision globale de l'entreprise et d'exercer vos talents dans un mode de solutions novatrices et stratégiques.

Vous vous réaliserez dans les fonctions suivantes :

  • Émettre des opinions juridiques et conseiller Beneva, ses entités et ses filiales sur des questions de nature juridique en lien avec leurs opérations, plus particulièrement en matière d'assurance médicaments, d'assurance de personnes (tant au niveau individuel que collectif), de produits et services financiers et d'assurance de dommages (au besoin).

  • Négocier, rédiger, et réviser divers contrats d'assurance de personnes et de produits et services financiers, incluant des contrats de distribution avec les partenaires de Beneva.

  • Représenter Beneva sur les Comités de l'industrie en lien avec l'assurance de personne, l'assurance médicaments et la distribution de produits et services financiers.

  • Contribuer à la vigie législative et règlementaire de Beneva des et collaborer avec le personnel en charge de la conformité afin de leur donner du support si nécessaire.

  • Traiter, en collaboration avec le personnel concerné, les saisies, avis de faillite, subpoena, demandes de renseignements et assignations qui leur sont signifiés.

  • Travailler sur des mandats ou projets spéciaux.

  • Participer et/ou siéger sur des comités internes.

Vos talents et vos qualifications :

  • Baccalauréat en droit

  • Être membre du Barreau du Québec

  • Posséder un minimum de sept (7) ans d'expérience pertinente.

  • Posséder de l'expérience en assurance de personne, assurance collective, assurance médicament, distribution de produits d'assurance de personne et/ou de services financiers.

  • Posséder de solides aptitudes analytiques et capacité à gérer plusieurs dossiers de façon simultanée.

  • Excellente maîtrise de la langue française ainsi qu'une maitrise intermédiaire de la langue anglaise, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit, en raison de la nature des tâches ou d'interactions avec des collègues, partenaires, clients ou fournisseurs anglophones, ou afin de répondre aux objectifs de croissance de l'entreprise.
