Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dealership or automotive shop, with a strong understanding of vehicle bodywork and repair procedures. This role involves performing precise body repairs, working with various tools, and ensuring vehicles are restored to manufacturer standards. A background in mechanical knowledge and automotive repair is essential for success in this position.

Duties

• Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, and refinishing
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to execute repairs accurately
• Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in accordance with dealership or shop standards
• Conduct heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely and efficiently
• Prepare vehicles for painting or finishing processes, ensuring quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures during repair processes

Qualifications

• Prior dealership experience or automotive body repair experience preferred
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and bodywork techniques
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of automotive repair procedures and standards
• Experience working with automotive paints, fillers, and refinishing techniques is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$100.00 per hour
