Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovator to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of building renovation, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, and finishing techniques. This role involves transforming spaces through comprehensive renovation projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Renovator will collaborate with project managers and other trades to deliver exceptional results on time and within scope.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute renovation plans accurately
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, cabinet installation, flooring installation, and tile laying
  • Conduct concrete forming, finishing, and restoration work as needed
  • Execute masonry tasks including bricklaying and concrete work
  • Install plumbing systems and electrical components following technical specifications
  • Apply construction painting, caulking, and sealing techniques for finishing touches
  • Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed
  • Operate heavy equipment for demolition or material handling when necessary
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction or renovation projects with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
  • Knowledge of various trades including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, and restoration
  • Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
  • Prior experience in concrete forming, finishing, or concrete restoration is desirable
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
  • Relevant certifications or licenses related to construction trades are advantageous but not mandatory
