About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Quality Engineer
with a strong background in testing within the
Financial Services sector
. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
for banking products, combined with leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies for banking applications and products.
  • Drive
    User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience
    in software testing within the
    Financial Services Industry
    .
  • Proven expertise in
    User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    for banking products.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage stakeholders and guide teams effectively.
  • In-depth understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite in Toronto).
