Are you a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist ready for private practice? We are seeking to partner with an experienced, enthusiastic, dedicated and compassionate Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our Women's Health and Wellness team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalized treatment plans to help patients recover from injuries, pelvic floor dysfunction, understand their symptoms and implement conservative management therapies to improve their pelvic floor. This role involves working closely with adult, female patients in various age groups or stages of life including prenatal, post partum, perimenopausal and menopausal women. The Physiotherapist will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and medical histories
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to promote recovery
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and medical terminology to provide the highest standard of care

Skills

  • Proven experience in the area of Pelvic Floor Health physiotherapy is required.
  • Strong knowledge of patient care practices and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients of all ages
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate approach with a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes
  • Ability to assess complex cases quickly and develop effective treatment strategies
  • Flexibility to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress
