The Manager, Quebec Pharmacy Programs & Communications is a professional who develops and implements a range of industry-leading external programs and partnership initiatives to differentiate the Teva brand. As part of a broader marketing and communications team, plans the strategy & development of retail pharmacy programs, materials and partnership initiatives that effectively represents products, programs, and positioning to stakeholders in the Quebec market. Builds and maintains corporate and community-based pharmacy programs that maximize customer loyalty. Partners with all levels across Teva local and global teams to develop and localize inspiring, informative, and engaging assets that support Teva's brand, corporate reputation and increase customer engagement. Represents Teva at Quebec customer events and meetings to engage customers in discussion about Teva and the value proposition of our pharmacy-based programs.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Lead a cross-functional team responsible to plan, develop and implement a Quebec specific retail pharmacy strategy, leveraging the expanded role of Quebec pharmacists as key healthcare providers.
- Strengthen the marketing strategy of Teva Canada's product portfolio through the strategic development of Quebec specific assets to support products and patient support programs.
- Lead the creation of communication assets & coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to position Teva programs.
- Work in collaboration with external suppliers and industry-experts to develop and implement pharmacy programs for independent retail and corporate customers that are relevant to the changing pharmacy landscape and product support needs.
- Oversee the integrity of all existing pharmacy programs by regularly reviewing content and performance. Adapt current programs to enhance the positioning within the Quebec market. Manage the program portfolio to ensure budget allocation is towards programs that are achieving the highest performance metrics.
- Develop educational information, marketing collateral and presentations to corporate account representatives and retail sales on all aspects of Teva and Teva's pharmacy program offerings.
- Responsible for ensuring medical, legal, HR and regulatory compliance for all external facing assets.
- Present pharmacy programs to customers as requested and represent Teva at industry tradeshows.
- Additional duties as required by the business
- Undergraduate degree in pharmacy, marketing, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of successful & relevant experience developing and implementing pharmacy programs and/or marketing activities within the Quebec pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Preferred: 3+ years of successful & relevant experience with developing and implementing pharmacy-based marketing programs within the Quebec pharmacy environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Quebec pharmaceutical industry and its' relevant stakeholders as well as an understanding of the regulatory environment and related requirements and practices within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Broad understanding of the challenges and stressors facing Quebec pharmacy owners/staff and the needs of Quebec based patients.
- Knowledge of PAAB, CCCEP and OPQ accreditation processes and requirements an asset
- Excellent French language communication skills (oral and written) Preferred: Bilingual (English/French)
- Detail oriented, strong time management and organizational skills
- Confident presenting in front of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to establish and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Self-starting and proactive, exhibits sound judgement, positive interpersonal skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Ability and willingness to learn new processes, software and systems
- Great work ethic and positive attitude
