What will your typical day look like?

Deloitte's Workplace Services group is seeking a Workplace Services Professional for their Toronto office. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth office operations, performing clerical tasks, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Key responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, managing office supplies, maintaining storage rooms, managing the closet space, supporting health and safety initiatives, and assisting with facilities management. This role performs general clerical duties and tasks requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and precision. Duties are performed in accordance with established office routines and operations.

Practical knowledge is required for delivering excellent office support services including;

  • Collaborate with team members and the Workplace Services Coordinator to ensure smooth execution of daily office operations.
  • Deliver a high-quality customer service to staff, clients, and external guests, fostering a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe office space by conducting regular supply checks, restocking, walkthroughs, and deficiency reporting.
  • Assist with office supply inventory, including coordination of redistribution to ensure adequate stock levels across the workplace.
  • Support health and safety initiatives by updating signage and participating in health and safety inspections.
  • Assist with facilities management through routine walkthroughs and prompt reporting of issues to local facilities teams.
About the team

The members of the Workplace Services team possess a practical body of knowledge that is applied in the delivery of office support. It includes jobs in the areas of procurement, mailroom, concierge, delivery and distribution, reception, hoteling resource management and facilities management. The Workplace Services role draws upon knowledge of the specific function discipline and the organization's business practices providing services to ensure the safe, efficient and effective operation of the organization.

You are someone with:

  • One to two years of work experience in facilities, customer service, event services, hospitality, or an office environment is an asset
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be a positive team player
Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $33,000 - $60,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
