Role Summary
We are seeking a Lead Azure + .NET Developer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and strong Banking / Financial Services domain experience. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, solution design ownership, and the ability to guide teams delivering secure, scalable cloud-based banking applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, architecture, and development of Azure-based .NET applications
Provide technical leadership and hands-on coding across the development lifecycle
Define cloud architecture standards and best practices on Microsoft Azure
Lead development of microservices and RESTful APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+
Own Azure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Ensure solutions meet banking security, compliance, and regulatory standards
Perform code reviews and mentor developers; enforce coding and quality standards
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders in the banking domain
Drive performance optimization, scalability, and production stability
Support release planning and production issue resolution
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Have)
12+ years of overall software development experience
Strong hands-on Azure experience, including:
Azure App Services, Functions
Azure SQL / Cosmos DB
Azure Service Bus / Event Grid
Azure Storage, Key Vault
Azure Monitor & Application Insights
Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework
Proven experience in a Lead / Tech Lead role
Strong Banking / Financial Services domain experience
Experience designing secure, scalable, high-availability systems
Strong experience with microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Nice-to-Have / Added Advantage
Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and Docker
Event-driven architecture experience
Knowledge of banking compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOX, data privacy)
Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305) preferred
Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
