Experienced Airport/Aerodrome Air Traffic Controller – Winnipeg Tower
9 hours ago
Job Summary
At NAV CANADA, we are experts in navigating Canada's skies. Helping pilots safely cross 18 million square kilometres of Canadian and North Atlantic airspace is what we do. Operating out of air traffic control towers, Air Traffic Controllers (Airport/Aerodrome Controllers) provide pilots clearances and instructions to maintain separation from other aircraft during takeoff and landing. Their job is to maintain a safe and orderly flow of air traffic within a defined airspace surrounding the airport, referred to as a "control zone", as well as on the ground on runways and taxiways.
We're making NAV CANADA a place where everyone truly belongs, where everyone thrives and where everyone is heard. To do that, we want to work with as many different types of people as possible.
If you'd love to shape the future of air navigation, we are currently seeking two (2) Airport/Aerodrome Air Traffic Controllers to work within the Winnipeg Tower located at 2000 Wellington Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3H 1C1. This is a full time, permanent opportunity.
Job Description
Why Winnipeg? Because central Canada offers unlimited potential.
Strategic positioning meets exceptional value. Winnipeg Tower connects you to Canada's aviation heartland, managing everything from international cargo to training operations. Your expertise will grow across diverse operational scenarios while your income delivers extraordinary purchasing power in one of Canada's most affordable major cities.
Life beyond the tower:
Own a beautiful home for what a condo costs elsewhere. Explore vibrant cultural scenes in the Exchange District, enjoy world-class festivals, or escape to pristine lakes just hours away. Winnipeg delivers big-city amenities with small-town affordability and genuine community spirit.
Why this matters now:
As Canada's geographic center, Winnipeg's aviation importance is growing with increased cargo operations and training facilities. You're joining a collaborative team where career development and work-life balance aren't competing priorities—they're both achievable.
