We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Cook I to fill a Casual position at the Lakes District Hospital.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health and working within the scope of Regional Northern Health (NH) Policies and Processes, the NH Regional Food Safety Plan and the NH Regional Food Sanitation Plan, this position performs duties related to the preparation and cooking of food items; portioning and serving food, washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and designated cooking/workstations. Responsible for assigning tasks to designated Food Service Workers.

The Lakes District Hospital
is a 16-bed facility that sees an average of 12,000 ER visits per year. The services include:

Burns Lake
is located in the heart of the Lakes District, an area boasting over 4800 kilometers of lake shoreline.
