Toronto, Ontario, Canada Societ Inc. Full time

About Us

Societ Inc partners with nonprofits to help them raise more, reach further, and do good—better. Our team of strategists and marketers deliver data-driven, creative campaigns that power social impact. We're expanding our fundraising portfolio to include both our retainer fundraising services and Fundspring, our new Fundraising-as-a-Service model. Together, these offerings help nonprofits and charities across Canada access the strategic expertise and executional support they need to grow their fundraising programs.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Director of Fundraising Services to lead the growth of this high-potential business line. This is a new, permanent leadership role focused on business development, client acquisition, and revenue growth, while ensuring excellent service delivery and client retention. You'll play a central role in scaling Fundspring as a product, expanding our base of retainer fundraising clients, and leading the team that delivers outstanding results for nonprofits across Canada.

You'll also provide interim leadership for our Fundraising Operations team during a maternity leave—helping ensure continuity and excellence across the department—while continuing to grow the business long-term.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Growth and Sales – Lead business development efforts for both Fundspring and retainer fundraising services; build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, pursue new opportunities, and meet annual revenue targets.

  • Develop and Launch Fundspring – Shape the go-to-market strategy, pricing, and positioning for our new Fundraising-as-a-Service product; refine and evolve the model as it grows.

  • Expand Client Relationships – Build strong, trusted partnerships with nonprofits and charities, ensuring satisfaction, renewal, and opportunities for expansion.

  • Lead and Support the Team – Manage a talented team of fundraising and marketing professionals, ensuring accountability and high performance.

  • Ensure Operational Excellence – Oversee systems, tools, and processes that support scalable, profitable, and high-quality service delivery.

  • Collaborate on Strategy – Work closely with the senior leadership team on forecasting, performance metrics, and long-term growth plans.

Who You Are

  • A results-driven business leader with a track record of growing or managing a consulting, agency, or service-based organization.

  • Experienced in sales, business development, and revenue management—from pipeline building through to client onboarding and renewal.

  • Confident leading teams and scaling operations to support growth.

  • Entrepreneurial, strategic, and motivated by targets, impact, and innovation.

  • Bonus: Experience in fundraising, marketing, or nonprofit consulting.

You'll be joining a purpose-driven organization with big ambitions for growth and impact. This is your opportunity to lead the development of a new business line, shape our approach to nonprofit fundraising services, and drive measurable results—for both our clients and the company.
