Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various building components, fixtures, and systems with precision and professionalism. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Installer will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure accurate execution of projects
  • Use hand tools and power tools to install fixtures, cabinetry, drywall, flooring, or other building components
  • Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, measuring, and fitting materials as specified in project plans
  • Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing of installations
  • Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support installation activities
  • Collaborate with team members and project managers to coordinate installation schedules and troubleshoot issues on-site
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
  • Follow all safety protocols and adhere to building codes throughout the installation process

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or maintenance person roles with a strong focus on installation work
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading is essential
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) as required by project demands
  • Knowledge of caulking techniques and sealing methods for various materials
  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience with blueprint reading is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
