Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Part Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Valiant Distribution Inc. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse by assisting with order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, quality control, product assembly, unloading of sea cans, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing inventory. Ensure accurate record-keeping of stock levels and product locations.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying product quantities, and inspecting for damages.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damage, ensuring items meet quality standards before shipping.
  • Product Assembly: Assemble products as needed according to specifications or customer orders.
  • Unloading of Sea cans: Assist with the unloading of sea cans, ensuring items are handled properly and efficiently.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring a safe working environment. Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any safety hazards or accidents.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse goals. Aid as needed to other departments.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Comfortable using ladders and performing overhead work as needed.
  • Ability to use equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and hand carts to move goods throughout the warehouse.
