Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The LPN will work closely with our clients in various healthcare settings to provide high-quality and personalized care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team

- Assist with patient assessments and care planning

- Provide wound care and dressings

- Administer injections and perform other nursing procedures

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients

- Educate patients and their families on self-care and disease management

- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Ontario

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting

- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
