Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for nail care and esthetics, with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in various beauty treatments, including nail enhancements and more. The Nail Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality services while maintaining strict sanitation standards and promoting retail products to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, artificial nails, gel nails, gel x, shellac and nail art using color theory principles to create appealing designs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
  • Offer personalized consultations to clients to recommend suitable nail care treatments and retail products.
  • Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and body treatments through effective communication skills and retail math techniques.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by creating a friendly atmosphere and addressing client needs promptly.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, esthetic treatments, and overall beauty industry developments.

Qualifications

  • Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required.
  • Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, sanitation protocols, and current beauty trends.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and upsell products confidently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills along with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
