Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, fabrication, and metalworking processes, with a strong focus on precision and safety. This role involves working with various materials and tools to produce high-quality components for construction, ductwork, and other industrial applications. The MIG Welder will also support related tasks such as blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and basic mechanical assembly.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on metal components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, and hand tools to shape and assemble materials
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and schematics for accurate fabrication
- Use calipers, measuring tapes, and other precision tools to ensure proper dimensions
- Rigging and positioning materials using cranes or forklifts for welding or assembly processes
- Conduct basic machining tasks as needed to prepare parts for welding or assembly
- Support assembly of ductwork, structural components, or other fabricated parts
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG welding within manufacturing or construction environments
- Knowledge of TIG welding is a plus; ability to perform plasma cutting and operate press brake machines is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, and schematics reading
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with welding in ductwork, assembly, or related construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to welding and fabrication processes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00 per hour
