Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, professional, and patient-centered Auxiliary Nurse (Infirmière auxiliaire) to join our private medical and esthetic clinic. This role is essential to the delivery of high-quality care and the daily clinical operations of a rapidly growing clinic focused on excellence, efficiency, and an outstanding patient experience.

The Auxiliary Nurse will work closely with physicians and the clinical team to support consultations, perform nursing activities within scope, and contribute to both medical and esthetic services. While the clinic provides a limited number of very specific RAMQ-covered services, the majority of services are private, requiring strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.

This position offers long-term growth potential, including opportunities for advancement, salary increases, and access to additional training, including the possibility of training toward nurse injector roles, depending on interest, performance, and clinic needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical data collection prior to consultations, including health history, reason for visit, vital signs, and updating patient records
  • Deliver nursing care within scope of practice, including injections, vaccinations, dressings, specimen collection, and other authorized procedures
  • Support physicians before, during, and after consultations, including follow-ups, patient education, and coordination of care
  • Participate in data collection and clinical activities related to ordonnances collectives, in accordance with protocols and supervision requirements
  • Prepare treatment rooms, ensure asepsis, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment
  • Document all clinical observations, interventions, and care provided in the electronic medical record
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and the healthcare team regarding patient status and clinical observations
  • Contribute to quality assurance, patient safety, and continuous improvement of clinical processes
  • Support medical and esthetic services offered by the clinic, according to training and authorization
  • Comply with professional standards, privacy legislation, and clinic policies at all times

Qualifications

  • Diploma as an Auxiliary Nurse recognized in Québec
  • Member in good standing of the OIIAQ (mandatory)
  • Previous experience in a clinical or private healthcare setting (asset)
  • Interest in professional development, including potential training as a nurse injector (asset, not required)
  • Experience or interest in working under ordonnances collectives and structured clinical protocols (asset)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical environment
  • Professional demeanor, clinical judgment, and strict respect for confidentiality
  • Bilingualism (French required; English an asset)
  • Knowledge of a third language (Mandarin, Persian, or other) considered an asset

Nous recherchons un(e) infirmier(ère) auxiliaire motivé(e), professionnel(le) et axé(e) sur le patient pour se joindre à notre clinique médicale et esthétique privée. Ce poste est essentiel à la qualité des soins offerts et au bon déroulement des activités cliniques quotidiennes au sein d'une clinique en pleine croissance, axée sur l'excellence, l'efficacité et une expérience patient exceptionnelle.

L'infirmier(ère) auxiliaire travaille en étroite collaboration avec les médecins et l'équipe clinique afin de soutenir les consultations, effectuer des actes infirmiers dans son champ de pratique et contribuer aux services médicaux et esthétiques offerts. Bien que la clinique offre un nombre limité de services très spécifiques couverts par la RAMQ, la majorité des services sont privés, ce qui requiert un haut niveau de professionnalisme, de jugement clinique et de communication.

Ce poste offre un potentiel de développement à long terme, incluant des possibilités d'avancement, d'augmentation salariale, ainsi qu'un accès à de la formation complémentaire, notamment la possibilité d'une formation menant à un rôle d'infirmier(ère) injecteur(trice), selon l'intérêt, le rendement et les besoins de la clinique.

Responsabilités

  • Effectuer la collecte de données cliniques préalable à la consultation : anamnèse, motif de consultation, antécédents, signes vitaux et mise à jour du dossier patient
  • Réaliser les soins infirmiers relevant du champ de compétence, incluant injections, vaccinations, pansements, prélèvements et autres interventions autorisées
  • Soutenir le médecin avant, pendant et après la consultation (enseignement au patient, suivis, coordination des soins)
  • Participer à la collecte de données et aux activités cliniques réalisées sous ordonnances collectives, conformément aux protocoles et sous supervision appropriée
  • Préparer les salles de traitement, assurer l'asepsie et veiller à la disponibilité du matériel médical
  • Documenter avec rigueur les observations cliniques, interventions et soins au dossier médical électronique
  • Communiquer efficacement avec les médecins et l'équipe clinique concernant l'état et l'évolution des patients
  • Contribuer au maintien des normes de qualité, de sécurité et à l'amélioration continue des processus cliniques
  • Soutenir les services médicaux et esthétiques offerts par la clinique, selon la formation et les autorisations reçues
  • Respecter les normes professionnelles, les lois sur la protection des renseignements personnels et les politiques internes de la clinique

Qualifications

  • Diplôme d'infirmier(ère) auxiliaire reconnu au Québec
  • Membre en règle de l'OIIAQ (obligatoire)
  • Expérience en milieu clinique ou en clinique privée (atout)
  • Intérêt pour le développement professionnel, incluant une éventuelle formation comme infirmier(ère) injecteur(trice) (atout, non requis)
  • Expérience ou intérêt pour le travail sous ordonnances collectives et protocoles cliniques structurés (atout)
  • Excellentes capacités d'organisation et souci du détail
  • Très bonnes habiletés de communication et relations interpersonnelles
  • Capacité à travailler efficacement dans un environnement clinique dynamique
  • Jugement clinique, professionnalisme et respect strict de la confidentialité
  • Bilinguisme (français requis; anglais un atout)
  • La connaissance d'une troisième langue (mandarin, persan ou autre) est considérée comme un atout

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
