Role Overview: 

We're looking for enthusiastic Brand Ambassadors to represent our company and promote our remittance platform and money account designed for new immigrants to Canada. As a Brand Ambassador, you'll raise awareness and drive sign-ups among students by attending campus events, collaborating with school clubs, organizing your own initiatives, and engaging in social media promotions. If you're a strong communicator, passionate about helping newcomers, and eager to make an impact on campus, this role offers you the chance to gain hands-on experience in sales and marketing while building your network.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Represent Beacon, promoting its services and resources.
  • Engage with students through social media and in-person interactions.
  • Organize and participate in events that connect people with Beacon.
  • Build relationships with campus clubs, organizations, and communities to expand Beacon's reach.
  • Distribute promotional materials and communicate Beacon's value.
  • Gather and share user feedback for service improvements.
  • Share content and promotions focused on affordable remittance and financial literacy.
  • Engage followers on social media (Instagram, Facebook, X, WhatsApp, TikTok, LinkedIn) to raise awareness and encourage sign-ups.
  • Organize and host webinars and events on topics like financial literacy, the Canadian financial system, and Beacon's services.

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Currently enrolled as a student at a recognized Canadian university or college.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in student organizations or leadership roles is highly desirable.
  • Active involvement in campus organizations, student groups, or extracurricular activities.
  • A proactive, creative, and positive attitude with a passion for helping others.
  • Experience with social media marketing is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience related to challenges faced by international students is highly desirable.
