Duties

  • Engage with prospective and existing clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach, telemarketing, and retail interactions to promote personal insurance products.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand clients' insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing quotes, policy applications, and documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones, leveraging multilingual skills when applicable.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and offering ongoing support for policy changes or claims.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to secure competitive rates and optimal coverage solutions for clients.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, policy details, and sales activities in accordance with privacy standards such as HIPAA when relevant.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities to close deals effectively while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual capabilities are highly valued) to connect with diverse customer bases.
  • Analytical skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend suitable insurance products.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles to develop outreach campaigns that attract new customers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships.
  • Familiarity with telemarketing techniques and strategies for engaging potential clients over the phone.

Job Type: Full-time
