Product Manager - Software
Reports to: (CTO)
Overview
We are seeking a customer-obsessed and data-driven Product Manager to lead
the discovery, design, and validation of product experiences that drive measurable
business outcomes. Reporting directly to the CTO, this role works closely with
engineering, design, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions rooted in
customer insight and analytical rigor.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Discovery & Insight Generation
• Conduct user interviews, contextual inquiries, and customer discovery
activities to understand real-world use cases, workflows, and pain points.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative feedback to identify unmet needs and
opportunity areas.
Product Strategy & Requirements
• Translate insights into clear product requirements—including PRDs, 1-pagers,
feature briefs, and design requirement documents.
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, Data, Sales,
Support) to align on problem definition, scope, and success criteria.
• Run validation interviews and concept testing for new project proposals to
ensure product-market fit before development.
Design Collaboration
• Partner with UI/UX designers to craft intuitive, user-centric experiences that
address customer pain points and improve business KPIs such as engagement,
activation, retention, and conversion.
• Review wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to ensure design decisions map
back to user needs and product strategy.
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
• Monitor product analytics, funnels, and usage patterns to uncover friction
points and performance gaps.
• Generate hypotheses for improvements, collaborate on experiments, and
measure the impact of releases and optimizations.
Execution & Delivery
• Prioritize features and maintain a clear and organized product backlog.
• Collaborate with engineering teams throughout development to ensure
product quality, clarity, and alignment with user needs.
• Drive product launches by coordinating communication, documentation, and
rollout plans.
Qualifications
• 5 years of Product Management experience or closely related roles, ideally
working with integrated hardware and software products.
• Customer-obsessed and data-driven decision-maker.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and structured product documents.
• Proficiency with analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA, etc.) and comfort
interpreting data.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering, design, and executive leadership.
• Bonus: familiarity with agile development processes, prototyping tools, and
experimentation frameworks.
