What are we looking for?
The Supplier Quality Intern will be a member of the Welland Quality Team and working closely to support our Quality and Supply Chain departments. This includes performing a variety of assignments to ensure the quality and availability of parts and/or products for our manufacturing plant, as well as our service customers.
Co-op Term: January May 2026
Essential Responsibilities
- Updating delivery data in internal ERP system regarding supplier information and internal products
- Supporting external supplier communications and updates
- Assisting in the resolution of parts qualification from approved supply base
- Reviewing daily fulfillment of parts from supply base through expediting components, based on priority for assembly, machining and service teams
- Assisting with internal customers to receive, analyze and provide commitments regarding external parts quality.
- Developing ideas on streamlining communications (process improvements) within quality organization.
- Analyzing stored data, creating reports and spreadsheets
- Working as an Internal customer liaison for general inquiries on supply chain procedures for assembly, machining, warehouse departments
- Work with team leaders and management to drive quality initiatives
- Simple measurement and review of first piece samples from suppliers.
- Support Supplier Quality Engineers with daily tasks.
Qualifications/Requirements
- In process of completing degree in a related discipline, such as Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working within a manufacturing setting

- Ability to multi-task, and deliver key objectives within established timelines
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft software, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with Oracle and/or other ERP systems preferred
