POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Senior Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, sourcing candidates, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. You will play a key role in building talent pipelines and supporting strategic workforce planning initiatives.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Post job openings on internal and external platforms, ensuring alignment with employer branding.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate interview schedules.
  • Manage candidate communications and provide timely feedback.
  • Facilitate offer negotiations and pre-employment processes.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Human Capital Management system.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Represent the company at career fairs and recruitment events.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring initiatives.
  • Helping support company branding

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment best practices.
  • Outgoing, persuasive, and self-motivated professional
  • Computer literate, especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual in French is an asset
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
