Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead our hospitality team in delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, restaurant management, and team leadership. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring food safety and quality standards, and fostering a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings, along with supervisory skills, is essential to succeed in this position.
Duties
- Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts, ensuring efficient service delivery
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and safety
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Assist with interviewing and hiring new team members to build a strong service team
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house
- Monitor customer service interactions to ensure guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Enforce food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Lead by example in hospitality, serving guests when necessary and maintaining a professional demeanor
- Manage restaurant operations during shifts, including opening, closing, and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Support team development through coaching, training, and performance evaluations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Ability to oversee food handling processes and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Effective communication skills for coordinating between front of house and kitchen teams
- Hospitality background including hotel or barista experience is a plus
- Leadership qualities that motivate staff and foster a positive work environment

Pay: $17.20-$18.50 per hour
