Mississauga, Ontario, Canada PACT Full time

JOB SUMMARY

PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners. Together, we are delivering Accelerator, a major program of Pearson LIFT (Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals), Toronto Pearson's infrastructure development plan. This multi-year program is designed to address immediate passenger growth demands while preparing Canada's largest airport for the future of air travel—including critical upgrades to airfield and infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, modernization of Terminals 1 and 3, and the creation of a world-class passenger experience.

The Risk Coordinator will support the Risk Manager in maintaining project risk documentation, assisting with risk workshops, and ensuring consistent application of the risk management framework across all sub-programs. This role provides a strong foundation for someone early in their risk management or project controls career, offering exposure to one of Canada's most complex and dynamic aviation infrastructure programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in maintaining and updating the Project Risk Register, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timely updates across sub-programs.
  • Support coordination and documentation of risk workshops with functional and sub-program teams (Airfield Civil & Electrical, Interim Infrastructure, GHG Reduction, and Priority Projects).
  • Track and monitor mitigation actions, owners, and deadlines to ensure accountability and follow-through.
  • Prepare and format risk dashboards, summaries, and reports for management and client review.
  • Gather and validate input from design, construction, and commercial teams for integration into cost and schedule risk analyses.
  • Support the application of the PACT Risk Management Framework in alignment with GTAA requirements.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements and developing templates or tools that enhance efficiency.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to the Risk Manager and wider Project Controls team.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the successful execution of PACT's risk management program.

WORK CONDITIONS

The position will be based at our offices in Mississauga, Ontario, with regular visits to the site offices as required.
This position is 5 days per week with core hours of work between approximately 8:00am–5:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch or as agreed upon with your manager.
All employees must complete a RAIC and Criminal Background Check.

DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPETENCIES

  • 4 years of experience in risk coordination, project controls, or project administration within large infrastructure, engineering, or construction environments.
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI, Safran Risk, or Primavera Risk Analysis considered an asset.
  • Ability to consolidate and interpret data for concise reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Eagerness to learn about quantitative risk analysis, cost/schedule integration, and progressive delivery models.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
