Overview

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer/ Taper/ Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be proficient in finishing drywall to a professional appearance. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Our Drywall Professional will play a crucial role in ensuring that all drywall installations meet quality standards and project specifications.

Duties

  • Prepare drywall surfaces by cleaning and applying necessary materials for finishing.
  • Apply joint compound, tape, and other materials to seams and corners to create a smooth surface.
  • Sand finished surfaces to ensure an even texture and prepare for painting or other finishes.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals, including painters and carpenters, to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Perform Repair Work from fist size holes to ceiling replacements
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Skills

  • Proficient in construction techniques and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of general construction processes and materials.
  • Experience in carpentry is a plus, enhancing overall project execution.
  • Ability to read blueprints accurately for effective project completion.
  • Skilled in caulking techniques for optimal sealing of joints and edges.
