Pet Sitter

Overview:

We're looking for dedicated, animal-loving individuals to join our Dog Walker and Pet Sitter team

Core Responsibilities:

Dog Walking: Up to 6 hours/day, year-round, in all weather

Training & Enrichment: Reinforce positive behaviours using positive reinforcement and leash training techniques (training provided)

Pet Care: Refill water bowls, occasional feeding

Preparation: Prepping treats and gear for walks

Communication: Regular updates with clients and team members

Data Entry: Logging of walk details (Daily Journals)

Genuine love for animals

Resilient, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals

Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Good Shake positive reinforcement methods

Strong work ethic and pride in providing excellent care

Clear, timely communication skills

Ability to work independently and cooperatively

Tech-savvy: comfortable with email, texting, social media

Must-Haves:

Weekend and holiday availability

Smartphone with data plan

Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car

Nice-to-Have:

Prior experience with dogs or pet care

Job Type: Independent Contractor

Typical Hours: Walks usually take place between 11 AM-2 PM, with occasional variations and Sitting our sitting hours are from 6pm to 9am ( Times subject to adjustment based on dogs needs)

Location: On the road - serving local neighborhoods

Note: Travel time is unpaid, but we minimize distances to save time and gas.
