Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dental Account Receivable Specialist located in Oshawa, ON. The role involves managing the accounts receivable process, generating and sending invoices, performing debt collection, and maintaining accurate financial records. The specialist will interact with patients and insurance companies, addressing inquiries and ensuring timely payment reconciliation while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail for accurate financial record-keeping and reconciliation
- Experience in Finance, including accounts receivable and invoicing
- Effective Communication skills to engage professionally with patients and insurance companies
- Proficiency in Debt Collection processes and strategies
- Knowledge of dental billing processes and software (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Prior experience in a healthcare or dental setting is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business or finance is a plus)
