Slickline Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Slickline Assistant to join the Mountainview Wireline team. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various machinery and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects for well optimization, fishing, swabbingassisting with rigging in, operating heavy machinery, and supporting team operations to ensure efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rigging in and out, operations, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Support rigging activities for lifting and positioning heavy materials or equipment
• Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools, materials, or personnel to location.
• Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting of equipment
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Support project teams with logistical coordination and material handling
• Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment usage and project activities

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge with experience in oilfield operations and rigging preferred.
• Valid class 3 with Air endorsement driver's license is an asset
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and lift heavy loads safely
• Strong attention to safety protocols and teamwork skills
• Relevant certifications/training are beneficial (H2S, TDG, WHMIS, CSO, First Aid)

This position is integral to the successful execution of our projects, requiring a proactive individual committed to safety and operational excellence. Currently looking for the perfect fit for a permenant full time position for a 15/6 schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
