Under direct supervision, the Associate Quality Assurance Analyst carries out established procedures to ensure programs/projects meet minimum company standards and end user requirements. The incumbent assists with quality assurance testing on basic applications to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. As the entry level in the Quality Assurance job stream, this role is competent to work on aspects of quality assurance testing, but requires instruction and guidance in some areas.
How you will create impact:- Provide input to the development of system test plans and user acceptance test plans.
- Assist with system testing according to plan.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of test case documentation.
- Document all problems and work with developers and analysts to resolve them.
- Participate in walk-throughs of testing documentation.
- Participate in verifications of implementations.
- Participate in work-flow analysis of testing procedures
- You influence change and are committed to continuous improvement, in order to exceed client expectations.
- You leverage critical thinking skills to identify problems and proactively propose solutions.
- Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages.
- You're an effective team player who shares knowledge to support your peers.
- You have a degree or diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You have the ability to understand business processes and their translation to systems applications.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in Digital QA.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Having experience developing test documentation is an asset.
- Rotational on-call schedule may be required, with shifts during evenings and weekends.
- Extended work hours, including weekends, may be required during peak periods.
