For over 40 years, Terraquest Ltd. has been a global leader in airborne geophysical surveys, delivering projects in more than 24 countries. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled Geophysicist / Data Processor to join our expanding team.

What You'll Do

  • Data Processing: Process airborne magnetic, VLF-EM, and radiometric datasets using specialized software and tools. Enhance signal-to-noise ratios, correct for environmental factors, and prepare high-quality, interpretable datasets.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough QA/QC on acquired data to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot issues during acquisition or processing.
  • Survey Design: Support feasibility studies, site evaluations, and survey planning.
  • Field Crew Collaboration: Provide updates, technical guidance, and troubleshooting support to field acquisition teams.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing technical reports summarizing survey logistics, data quality, and results.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in meetings, presentations, and proposal development while representing Terraquest to clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Terraquest's technical team in-office, with occasional travel for field assignments in remote locations and varied weather conditions.s.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, or related Earth Sciences.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in airborne geophysical data acquisition and/or processing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Geosoft Oasis montaj.
  • Familiarity with coordinate systems, mapping, and GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements in time-critical environments.
  • Professional designation (P.Geo.) or active pursuit of designation preferred.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to remote field locations.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule to align with field operations when required.
