JOB DESCRIPTION

At Happy's, we are all about bringing the thrill of play, the joy of connection and a vibe that keeps our guests coming back for more. We are more than just an entertainment venue; we are where generations come together to make memories that last a lifetime.

What You'll Do:

.You'll be the right-hand person to the General Manager, helping them run the show at our virtual sports and family entertainment facility. Expect to dive into a little bit of everything:

  • Own the floor during your shift – this includes ensuring all team members are working by our core values and ensuring our guests are taken care of. Assisting on the floor with food running, busing, expo, table maintenance, setting up guests for golf and racing simulators, checking in guests, and keeping an eye on the arcade.
  • Approve discounts and promos as needed (you will have the power to make people's day)
  • Coach the team to deliver consistently top-notch food quality, presentation, and customer service
  • Ensure opening and closing tasks are completed like a well-oiled machine
  • Go above and beyond to elevate guest experiences; resolve conflicts with style and keep the good vibes rolling
  • Set up and run golf leagues and tournaments
  • Foster a workplace that's safe, inclusive and geared towards both personal and professional growth

What You'll Need:

  • Flexibility to work primarily evenings, weekends and holidays with a dash of overtime when needed
  • Management experience in a fast-paced, guest focused environment
  • Valid SmartChoices certification
  • A love for cleanliness and organization – we keep it spotless around here
  • Quick-thinking and problem-solving skills – you may need to MacGyver your way through tricky situations
  • A solid understanding of how social media works, especially for engaging with guests and promoting our venue.
  • Knowledge of the game of golf

  • You get the ins and outs of running a multi-faceted venue and restaurant

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
