Who You AreAs International Country Lead - Canada, you will play a critical role in helping grow Justworks' footprint internationally by supporting the International team in operationalizing and running our Canadian business. You will contribute to continuously solidifying our international capabilities and infrastructure as we grow in Canada, facilitating a greater depth of services and operational capacity that enables us to serve a larger population of employees in EOR markets.

Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On
- Act as the internal owner for Canada, identifying market opportunities and executing go-to-market strategies with autonomy.
- Develop and execute a localized country strategy aligned with global company goals and tailored to Canadian market needs.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Legal, and Ops to influence roadmap, ensure compliance, and support growth.
- Provide market expertise and competitive insights to support sales enablement and assist with high-value customer engagements.
- Drive product localization efforts, ensuring our offering fits the legal, cultural, and operational expectations of the Canadian market.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, trends, and challenges to the VP International Ops and executive leadership.
- Foster a culture of entrepreneurship, accountability, and continuous improvement as you build and scale the Canada business.
- Work with internal teams to build and optimize relationships with key partners and vendors in Canada including counsel, payroll, accounting/tax, immigration, and others
- Stay up-to-date with country-specific trends and best practices, and share this knowledge internally

- 7-10+ years of experience in Canada in an execution-focused role in operations or expansion teams, preferably at a B2B Saas company
- Deep experience in Canadian HR, payroll and benefits experience
- Demonstrated project management skills working with multiple complex interdependent workstreams and organizing internal and external teams against tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience understanding legal processes and regulations is a plus
- Specific experience in Canadian employer-of-record (EOR) and international products is a plus
- Ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and partners.
