The Opportunity:

The 
Site Deployment Configuration & Quality Manager

plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of site deployment projects by managing configuration data, enforcing quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.
The scope of work for this role is expected to be approximately
40% configuration management, 40% quality control, and 20% installation supervision

. This role bridges field operations, engineering, and corporate governance to ensure that every site is deployed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with 

the Client's global standards

.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Deployment Configuration Management

• Lead the configuration of site-specific deployment packages, including BOMs, drawings, pricing, and risk profiles.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates to configuration data throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and project management teams to validate site readiness and configuration integrity. Govern the use of configuration tools and templates to maintain consistency across deployments.
• Support change management processes for site-specific modifications and upgrades.

Site Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement site-specific Quality Plans aligned with corporate and regulatory standards. Conduct on-site inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with installation and commissioning protocols.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for deployment-related issues and customer complaints. Monitor and report on site quality KPIs, including defect rates, rework, and COPQ.
• Train and coach site teams on quality procedures, tools, and continuous improvement practices.

Deployment Support & Coordination

• Act as the quality and configuration lead during site mobilization, execution, and close-out phases. Interface with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve deployment challenges. Ensure documentation and data handover is complete and accurate at each stage of deployment.
• Participate in post-deployment reviews to capture lessons learned and drive future improvements.

Requirement:

• 5 years of experience in site deployment, configuration management, and/or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of field operations, commissioning, and site handover processes.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Required Software Skills:

• SAP (especially modules related to configuration, quality, and materials management)
• Salesforce CPQ or other Configure-Price-Quote platforms
• PLM Systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill)
• Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ETQ Reliance or MasterControl
• Microsoft Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and KPI tracking
• MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros)
• JIRA or ServiceNow for issue tracking and change management
• SharePoint and Teams for collaboration and documentation.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ-OE, CSSBB) are an asset.
