About the Position:
RWDI has a permanent full-time opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team at our corporate head office in Guelph.
We're looking for a curious and creative individual with strong graphic design and digital skills. As part of a collaborative team of marketing and communications professionals, you'll contribute to a wide range of digital and print projects that support RWDI's strategic and operational goals.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll bring excellent design capabilities, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across all levels of the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe role includes but is not limited to:
- Create visual marketing assets for a broad range of digital and print media, including social media graphics, sales and conference collateral, and presentations.
- Lead onsite photography and videography for project and marketing purposes.
- Work closely with marketing, communications, and internal teams to understand technical project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Design within RWDI Brand Standards and champion/drive adoption throughout the organization. Assist with refining brand visual identity, when appropriate.
- Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer to drive creativity and innovation.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance visual storytelling.
We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, or related experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and other design programs.
- Experience with photography and videography.
- Knowledge of current design trends.
- Experience working independently as well as within global cross-functional teams.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- A curiosity to learn and tell the stories of a company whose mission is "Redefining possible."
- Experience in architecture/engineering/environmental science is a plus.
