Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and services, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance application functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement front-end features using React, JavaScript, and Express frameworks.
  • Utilize version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git for code management and collaboration.
  • Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices in software development and Agile methodologies.
  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Work with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure to deploy, manage, and optimize applications in cloud environments.
  • Maintain knowledge of IT infrastructure components relevant to application deployment and scaling.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to application architecture, security (RBAC), and performance tuning.

Experience

  • Proven experience in Java development with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Hands-on experience with web development technologies including JavaScript, React, Express, and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and Azure for deployment and infrastructure management.
  • Working knowledge of databases like MySQL and SQL Server; experience with database design is a plus.
  • Experience with version control tools including GitHub, SVN, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Exposure to other programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, VBA, or C is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure components including Linux environments for application deployment.
  • Experience working on application development projects involving RESTful API integration and front-end/back-end coordination is preferred.
