Our Care Model
Lifespan has developed an innovative private-pay healthcare model where patients are supported by a multi-disciplinary care team consisting of a Family Physician, Endocrinologist, Radiologist, Nurse, Sonographer, Exercise Physiologist and Dietician – all Canadian certified in their field of expertise.

Job Description
We are looking for an Kinesiologist to work out of our North Vancouver clinic, located at Lonsdale Quay. The Exercise Physiologist will be responsible for conducting a 75-minute kinesiology assessment as a core component of our Signature Health Assessment. Using state-of-the-art equipment, you will evaluate physical performance through VO₂ Max testing, strength assessments, and balance testing. Your expertise will help baseline each patient's physical capabilities and your observations will guide tailored fitness recommendations that support their health goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform VO₂ Max, strength, and balance testing using top-of-the-line equipment.
- Document clinical observations and test results in the patient's chart.
- Develop personalized fitness and lifestyle recommendations based on findings.
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to provide patients with a seamless, integrated preventative health experience.
- Ensure high standards of patient care, professionalism, and accuracy in all assessments.
- Document in electronic chart notes in a timely and detailed fashion
- Create personalized exercise programs for patients, based on evidence-based clinical guidelines, and unique patient characteristics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
- Completion of an Exercise Physiologist designation through CSEP or ACSM
- Experience conducting fitness, strength, and VO₂ Max testing preferred
- At least two years of clinical experience in the field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with patients and clinical staff.
- Excellent organizational and charting/documentation abilities.
- A personal interest in health/wellness and the importance of promoting exercise for the optimization of health
Job Expectations
- Hours: full time, 40 h per week, Mon-Fri
